I went to this pet store around the corner from me, which the owner is the husband of the owner of the chinese food place next door... well, anyways, the clerk at the desk thought that the leopard gecko they had up for sale there was a nile monitor cause it was labeled as such. When I asked her the price, she insisted that it was a monitor and told me that she would have to call the owner. Weird....

lol how could you tell the diff they are almost the same right!!!!

I dont know how he could tell the difference, you must have keen eyes to see that the monitor is only a lot bigger than the leopard is, but how he could tell is beyond me.

not to mention, you don't lose your fingers when you stick them in that cage.
