I just picked up a pair of my first Pituophis. I got them from Tom Stevens. This is the male '04 Albino Patternless Pine.

Tom has some really nice Southerns, and a great collection all around. I am hoping to someday find a pair of high red and white albino Southerns, just haven't seen any that catch my eye for the high contrast. Thanks for posting those pics, great looking snakes!
Have a good one,
Gregg F.

Gregg thanks for the compliment and good luck in finding your high red contrasting albino Southern Pines.
I think Tom was right in saying that I will catch the Pit bug as soon as I got them. Now I can't stop looking at Pit pictures. LOL
Thanks Tom.
HAHA! It happens to everyone.....once you hold some nice baby Pits you get the fever and the only cure is to own some. People who know me know I mostly keep Kings and Milks but having Pits is mandatory. I currently have 10, and when I have more room....I am going to have to get some more. Tom Stevens
Yeah, the Pit bug has got you as Tom warned. Keep posting pics, like yourself i also like to look at as many pit pics as possible!
Have a good one,
Gregg

Albino Southerns are highly underrated in my opinion, and when you throw in patternless, it makes the variants even more interesting.
Gregg, I have a female that fits that description(high red/white contrast), but don't have a male to match. I think I talked to you about them before. The only male albino I have is more of a pale pinkish orange; neat looking, but not what I'd like to match with our female necessarilly.
Good to hear from you. Yes, we did talk about that female S. Pine, if you have anymore pics of her please post them or shoot me an e-mail with them. I found a decent looking pair at a show last year, but the seller didn't know if they were S. Pines, looked like it to me, but they were just saying Albino Pines on the tubs. Also, they had 2002 for a birthdate and i have had pines that were double thier size and were several months old...I would say they were yearling size at best, if they were 2 years old then they weren't fed much at all. They looked fine weight wise, but just the overall size was small. So needless to say with the lack of details on them i had to pass. Hopefully you can produce a few babies with your pair that resemble the female!
Have a good one,
Gregg
