Well Santiago is trying to mate with Siena.He stopped eating for 9 whole days and now he`s ready to go.I did not change the temps in there care at all. So I will see what happens . hers a picture of the two love birds .Thanks Russ

Good luck with that project John! It was funny you noted his eating behavior. I remember Rex (B/W) wanted to breed all the females that came within 5 feet of him. The only thing he would do is eat, then go off chasing the ladies. His appetite did not deviate from the norm, though he was unique.

Hey, as the owner of an extremely "frisky" blue male tegu, I have a question: does Santiago bite at Sienna's neck or tail a lot? My blue, Odie, bites at the girls so much I have to keep him separate, only occasonal visits which almost always end with me having to intervene on behalf of the girls because of biting.

Blues are the roughest when it comes to breeding. If that is what you intend to do I'd say you need to sit back and get used to it. Either that or send him my way, I've got a 2yr old virgin that needs a mate and I can't find one!
