I have a heavy-duty storage box for my setup. There is an indoor/outdoor thermometer installed inside with the probe attached to the floor beneath the woodchips. I also have a thermostat(shown) with the probe set to 85, which keeps the floor between 82-89. There is about 2 inches of cypress mulch on the bottom, and 2 8" saucers for hides.

that is pretty nice, is the top of the container not flush w/ the top of the shelf?
No, its not... I have a lid, which I took off for the photos. It locks down, so I know there won't be any escapes. It was easier to buy a heavy duty storage tub than to rebuild my shelving unit which is pre-installed in my ancient trailer home. Gotta love college ingenuity, or rather, lack thereof...
This is my typical juvenile setup.

Hey,
Here's a look at one of my rack systems, fitted with 2221 and 2222 RubberMaid Tubs and a group of self made cages too, housing adults.

what do you do about feeding?
i got the vibe everyone was against keeping bloods together unless they were breeding....i guess yours could be doing that.
Hey,
All the bloods and STP's, get separated prior to feeding and get fed singly, in Rubbermaid tubs.

hey thats a cool rack system...do you happen to have the specifics on it...dimensions, materials, heating equiptment.... and have you had any experience with the heat cable stuff, do you know if it is effective? I see you have the big cages on metal shelves...i use the same ones, their cheap and work wonders for organizing herps.

Be excellent to each other...and Party on dude!
Hey,
Email me and I'll send you the specs. This is my personal specs and all cages were built by me, and were not store bought.
