my first pregnant boa

neilgolli Feb 08, 2005 12:00 PM

Are there any good sites out there regarding the feeding habits of female boas while going threw the breeding and preganacy phase? She has only accepted one meal since the end October and started breeding in early november. Thanks

Nice picture. I am also a first time breeder. I have one question. Is she normaly in that position? The reason I ask, thats how my girl is all day long. She is never in the heat position. Her body temps are around 85'. Thanks Marshall

Yes, she has been in that constant position now for nearly 3 days. I have just removed the male from her enclosure for good and she also took down a meal today after showing no interest at all for the last few weeks.

My favorite picture of her pre breeding
