question about temperment.

I want to know how are there temperments and if any are more or less aggresive than others, ( Referring to carpets and diamonds)

my carpet hisses like you wouldnt believe everytime i get her out. everyone thinks that shes gonna strike at me but she never has. she just does that. every carpet ive ever encountered has been a bit defensive when you first touch them but the majority calm down after a couple nsecs.
