I just purchased a baby Leopard Gecko last week. It is a few months old and it has adjusted to it's new home fine. It eats great, but i'm not sure if it's drinking enough water. Since it is nocturnal and loves hiding in his rock den, I don't see it come out that often, however it must at some point during the night b/c the next morning I will see a dropping in the cage far from it's rock den. However, there is always a large amount of water still in his water dishes. I have a typical shallow dish made for lizards, and a jelly jar lid that i use for water dishes. I was thinking about purchasing something different just to be safe. I've also read that some geckos won't really drink standing water. So i wanting to get some feedback from other gecko owners on what watering method they use. Inparticular i was wondering which is usually most effective, one of the vibrating water dishes that is supposed to get the gecko's attention, or a dripper? Please post which method works best for you, or which ones don't. Thanks.
