You guys have to find out how to fix the page reloading to the top thing. It seems it's getting worse. Almost every time I hit the back button to go back to where I left off (could be half way down the page) it goes back to the top and I have to try to find where I was at. It has become very frustrating especially because this page moves so fast.
Please ask around and see if there is any possible fix for it.
Thank you
Joel Roberts.

I know you have said you had probs with it before, but each and everytime I use the back button it works fine and I go right back to where I was. If you are using dial up, let the page completely load because when it goes back it does go to the top, then when near done loading it takes you right back to the post you were at. Maybe thats the prob? lol, probably not, but maybe......Chris

I wish it was that easy. I have DSL and it loads right away,, but at the top. Arrrrrr. This is one of the things where if I had a brick, my .com would be in trouble. LOL

I don't know if it's a browser thing or the forum format?? I have heard other people say it does the same thing so it's not just me.

Please,,, anyone who can help,, feel free to help out.

Thanks for the attempt Chris.

Thanks.

I think it may be worth while to look at some other message board software.

take a look at boards like www.reefcentral.com for example.

some things here that are just not very "User Friendly"

1) long page of threads -- depending on the users connection speed can take a long time to load
2) no options for page size to load
3) hard to see which posts are "New Threads"
4) with the "replyto" method used it makes reading messages to a thread difficult when folks are replying you can windup with nested "sub threads".
5) no option to use a cookie to "remember" my id and log me in for posting.
6) Banner, Links and headers at page top can take up way to much of the page height, on many screens the messages are not visible untill you scroll down a whole page.

this is a good place to find info.... but could be better designed to bring the info up to the top and load pages fast.

It's been happening to me since they switched to the new format but it's been real bad this weekend,, almost every back click goes straight to the top.....

I just ordered 9 caves today. About how long does it take them to ship?

thanks.

They are fast, you should have them this week, you usually get a notice in email when they are shipped and the expected arrival date.

I think you and your dragons will like them, if ya have ones that poo on basking rock, they clean easy. I use a little toothbrush..... lol each of mine have their own toothbrush

I click on a message title from the thread list and it loads the page header (Kingsnake logo, links, etc.), but not the message. The indicator on the lower left corner reads "done", and my XP "flag" in the upper right hand corner stops waving like it's loaded. After about 4 refreshes, it finally loads the whole page.

Anyone else seeing anything like this? I'm also on DSL, and it never did this with dialup.
