Do the MALES have to be a certain size/age before breeding?

bugmamma Feb 08, 2005 03:00 PM

I was wondering at what point males are OK to breed? Are they ready whenever they are able, or is it beneficial to wait 'til they are a certain age?

close to the same size as the female. within 10 grams ( so a 35G female and a minimum of a 25G male) the closer in size, the better. otherwise the female may beat up on the male.
