What kind of glue can I use with PVC around my corn snakes without hurting them?
PVC solvent evaporates completely. I assume you're gluing PVC to PVC?

Actually I dunno. I'm just trying to design some kind of climbing structure for my viv and PVC seemed like a good choice. I thought about PVC solvent, but I know it has really strong fumes so I wasn't sure if it left any kind of residue behind or not. And actually, glue might not even be necessary for PVC to PVC if the dry joints fit tight, which they usually do.... so all in all, my question may have been completely unnecessary, but I didn't really think about that til after I posted it...lol.

The fumes are strong, but that also lends to them evaporating completely.

Agreed. Probably unecessary. But on the same point, since your using the tight fitting PVC joints, a bit of Elmers glue will hold the joint but still allow you to take the climbing structure apart in the future. Just pour boiling water over it.

I just used the friction to hold the pvc together. On a couple that I wasn't too sure about holding, I drilled a small hole with a countersink, then put a 3/4" screw through it. if you really are worried you could put some hot glue around the outside, but I don't see it being necessary.
