Help!! Sick RETF!

I have an adult RETF that looks to have be toxing out. He is dark colored and he has hind leg extension, sometimes convulsions and doesn't seem to be able to move around much at all. I am soaking him in clean water. What does it sound like he is sick with? What else can I do?

Convulsions are never a good thing...he sounds like he really needs to go to a vet!
