I was asked to take a gold tegu off a friends hands, so i did cos he was probably going to dispose of it some how, and i did not want that to happen. So i am here asking anyone and everyone, please help me, i need to know everythng and anything you wonderful people can tell me about how to care for a gold tegu. it is still a baby, about 8 or 10 inces in total length, very skiddish but seems to be extremely tame, will let me pet it and everything. again any info will help, thank you all in advance.

Ok here you go. Basking temp 100-105 tops till he is bigger. Feed mainly incects(crickets,silkworms,roaches,kingmealworms).I use a top soil made buy hyphonex(spelling) . It workes great for my gold. Spray the whole cage every day. the top soil dryes out every day. make shur the night temps are 75-80 .this is critical for them.offer a small watrer bowl.only feed pinkie mice once a week only.
