African Helemeted Terrapins

bast Feb 09, 2005 07:44 AM

Hello All,

I am lookng for husbandry and breeding info for Pelomedusa subrufa, the African helmeted terripin. I was just given a pair P. subrufa. I know they are not worth much, but I'd like to breed them for the challenge and fun. I have some outdoor pens that all of my reptiles go in for the summer. I'll include an older photo of on of the pens.

Thank you for any assistance,

Brian

Throw a nice sized pond in there, and make sure the turtles can't dig under the fence, and you're set.
