My first little bundle of joy is about to hatch in just a couple of days. So here are my questions...

How long do I leave it in the incubater?

Do I leave it with the vermiculite or put it on paper towels?

When do I enterduce it to food?

your head will collapse, but there's nothing in it, and you'll ask yourself, "where is my mind"

Prepare a shoe box container lined with paper towel and with 2 small hides at each end of the box(I cut toilet paper rolls in half lengthwise for hides). Also place a small UTH under one end of the box, and keep it plugged in. If you have all of this ready and warm before your egg hatches, all you have to worry about is putting your new baby its new home. Paper towel works well because you can dampen it daily, and that will help keep the baby humid for his first shed. Once he has completed his first shed, toss some tiny crickets or mealworms in for him and see what happens.
