If you mean one of those really beautiful golden flying frogs. Not a good idea. They are from different parts of the world. It really is not a good idea to mix species from different continents.

This question seems to pop up quite a bit and I think it is borne out of frustration over wanting a variety of the frogs that are out there in your collection but not wanting to maintain them in lots of different terrariums.

It IS frustrating but you have to remember -- the most important thing is the doing what is best for your pet. They can't make the choice of what is best for their optimal existence in captivity -- that choice has to come from us.

As I mentioned in a post below mixing species is not always the best idea and you have consider a lot of factors when doing so.

I think it would a heck of a lot harder to maintain a GIANT terrarium to house several species together without creating undo stress than to keep several small terrariums with individual species.

If you really want a companion for the frog that you have -- get one of the same specie and play it safe.

yes, I agree with honuman. you need to consider my rule of thumb for mixing species...SURVIVE vs. THRIVE. Sure your animals might sruvive togther, but is the OPIMUM set up for BOTH the same or is one going to loose out and just SURVIVE?

Second point; Do your RESERCH! I understand thats why some people come here, but you should be considering the two species seaportaley and asking seaporate questions....just plain mixing species is a very touchy topic!
