hello, i have got two new breeder females that even though they are getting bred like crazy they are more intrested in getting fed .. they keep there heads at the door were i usually feed them from and there heads in attack mode ... i have had plenty boas breed but i never really took notice to this .. i mean these two girls want some food .. already saw one ovulate but not the other .. anyone ever sneak them a meal lol .. they are just so cute i almost feel bad to not feed them ...i know i probaly shouldnt feed them but i wonder if it gets in the way of breeding or if it prolongs the whole process .. i did see one ovulate so maybe not ...just seeing what u guys out there think and have experienced ..

Yes you can feed them, make sure you seperate them first

most people do feed their gravid females, check out the boaphiles web page, look for his breeding info there, on the pages from reptile magazine, I think it explains what he does there.

good luck

steve
