How about age, sex, size, type, and locale if applicable.

Here is mine, he is a Bullitt county KY locale black rat snake. At last measurement he was 66" and is an '01.

Hi Brian,
I can't believe there haven't been any responses so far. I don't even own a digital camera, but my largest is a 2000 hatchling black, that measured 76" last August. He looks similar to Dwights jet blacks. A friend has a yellow that measures just over 90", but he doesn't know much of the history on him. Both snakes are males.

I know, dont know if people just dont want to show off any of their animals or what. Anyways, that is one huge black rat, 76", man I wish you had a digital camera. I would love to see a pic of him!! And a yellow rat @ 90"?? That has got to be the record length for a yellow!!! I would love to see some pics of that one too for sure!! He should get the length verified and then put on the books!!! Wow!

almost 90". It was collected in 1993 by Kenneth Krysko near lake okeechobee. So if that one is 90" or more, it would be the new record!!

Yeah, bear with me on the digicam. Whenever I do get one, I'll have to learn how to post pictures. I might be able to get my friend to post his yellow. He (the guy with the yellow) has actually met people like Stebbens and Bartlet, and was told for a specimen to qualify for a record length it has to be wildcaught and that length at capture. I don't really agree with it. I believe you'd have to raise a snake in captivity to find the full growth potential of the species IMHO. Oh well.
The mother of my black came from High Point NC, the father was from a Greenville SC male, and a Chesapeake Virginia female. He's a neat animal.

My W/C in 2000 male.He measured 76" back in September.I'm bringing him up from his yearly cooling in our basement this weekend.In a few weeks he will be taking 2 large rats a week as usuall.Going to breed him to my White sided female this year.

Took this pic before I cooled him.I will get some more pics of him when he is back to feeding.

I remember that first pic when you first posted it! That guy has gotten some nice colorings too!! Hope your breeding project goes good!!

I have no idea how old he is but Im pretty sure he came from the Tex/Mex area.In the pic he is relaxed and around 5 feet.Seems like he can add another foot when I take him out.
