u can see the rope around it just before the bulge. snake charmars do this in india to keep the snakes meal down. also the snake dose look kinda dead. and for most people the only good snake is a dead snake and i think they went with that idea when they found this big snake.

I can’t tell for certain if she is still alive, but hopefully she wasn’t injured or killed. If I had to guess, I would place the location in the southwest Brazil pantanal region. The emblem on three of the men’s shirts shows a stork and the name “tuiuiu”. The tuiuiu is the signature bird of the Brazilian pantanal. Looks like they could possibly be associated with the national park. Thanks for the post.

Kelly, thanks for that bit of info. I'm not an anaconda person so I'm not familiar with different ones from different regions. I wondered myself weather it lived through that whole ordeal or not. It looks a little too limp, and that's a real shame.

another reminder of why condas are so awesome!

In relation to the above "morbid" post I wonder if anyone assumed it was a child in there and they cut it open like some other email pics i've seen. In my opinion the best pic of a huge wild snake is one that has been left alone.

I agree. the pic of that one in the wild and free would have been a beautiful pic.
