keeping a pair together

any thoughts on keeping a male/female pair of bloods together? specifically - any aggression likely? will it affect breeding? I have a large (~3x5x2) cage that would give them plenty of room to stretch out. Better to use smaller individual cages?

i asked Kara at NERD about keeping bloods together. basically, she said "dont do it"
