Yes, tile if very good to use. Best if used w/ under tank heater though, since the tile does not stay warm easily. As for cleaning, yes very easy to clean!

I love tile! It's like the best thing to use as sub in my opinion. Vinyl tile can be cut with reg scissors and conducts heat very well. It's super easy to clean and looks natural. I would reccomend it to anyone.

I was looking to get some vinyl tile the other day but I was worried because it had adhesive on the tile with a paper backing. Do you use the same kind of tile?

Can heating the adhesive on the back of the tile with an UTH cause toxic fumes that could harm the geckos?

Ya know...I just recently set up another terrarium for my geckos and used the peel and stick tiles, but had the same concern, so I haven't put any geckos in it yet, and I emailed Armstrong, the company that made the tiles, asking them about this, and they're suppose to email me back in the next 2 days. So when they do, I'll let ya know what they say

I've been using that kind of tile for close to a year now and haven't had any problems at all. Yall can double check but I don't think there is anything to worry about.
