My RES babies

burunx Jul 06, 2003 11:33 PM

Hi,

I got my first turtles (Squirt and Crush)on 6/19 and thought I would share what has become of all of my questions that you all so kindly answered.

They are housed in a 90 liter rubbermaid container. Right now they do not need a water heater as the water temp. is 80-84 degrees (but I have one on standby). They have 2 dry basking spots, one under a 60 watt daylight blue reptile bulb and is about 90 degrees. The other is about 80 degrees.

I have an under gravel filter, a fluval 1 power filter, a duetto 50, and a fluval 1plus. For lighting I have a 20 watt, 24 inch Vita-Lite.

I am trying to incluse an image, but I had trouble the last time. I will also put some images in the photo gallery.

Thanks for everyone's help and if you have any suggestions I would love to hear it!

There are also a goldfish (started w/4 last week) and a catfish guy.

They eat once a day like piggies in a five gallon tank. They have eaten blood worms, baby crickets, baby reptomin, nutrafin fish pellet food and baby water snails. They also have some cuttle bone in their tank.
