I'm probably going to pick up a pair of younge argentine boas this weekend, and am wondering about the colours. I've seen pics where they are both silvery-grey and brown-grey as adults, and i'm wondering if perhaps theres a way to tell which way the babies are going to go, without having a look-see at the parents?
also, when i was first looking at them, i was told about how they were "high-pink" and have seen this term in the classified's. After mentioning that id "rather have no pink, since i loved the pure grey colour" i was informed that the pink goes away as they age. so which is it, is the "high pink" just a gimmick to sell them, or will the snakes maintain the colour to maturity?
All in all, what signs will lead to a snake most likely to be a lovely silver/grey adult? it was this colour that first lead me to wanting one, they almost look blue, which is my favourite colour to see on animals. Any input is appreciated!
