More eggs

Aisha Jul 06, 2003 11:38 PM

Aisha has been mopping for the last couple days and for the last 20 minutes digging like mad in her nesting box.I think she's ready to pop out her 4th clutch of eggs. I'm glad I'm around for this batch and hope these are good. The first and third were infertile. I'll feel bad if all that effort she making is for nothing.

I know it’s hard to watch the females put so much effort into infertile eggs. Don’t give up on your girl, there is still a chance she will lay some fertile ones. Nike, my one of my females, didn’t lay a fertile egg until her 5th clutch of eggs. I have yet to see a gecko actually lay eggs, hope you get a chance.
