New to Frogs, Need Help Regarding Building a Terrarium, Compatibility of Frogs

ChesterAndDucky Feb 10, 2005 03:57 AM

Hi, I'm new to the frog world, I have a couple leopard geckos and am interested in expanding into frogs... First off, I am interested in building a couple terrariums for my geckos and/or future frogs, but I don't really know how to go about it. if anyone has some plans on how to do it, that would be great... The dimensions I am looking for are about 36"x14" for the geckos and I'm not sure about the dimensions for the frogs vivarium... Also, if anyone has pictures showing their own home-made terrariums, that would be great...

Second, I would like for a vivarium to be full of many frogs, rather than just 1 or 2... If any species are compatible with each other, that would be great to know...

Anyways, thanks a lot for any help given... I greatly appreciate it... This is just sort of a preliminary attempt to gather information about frogs. I am not just going to go out and buy them tomorrow or anything... Thanks again guys...

I have some pics on my website along with a a few "how-to" articles to start you out in your search. For first frogs, I must recommend Leucs. They work well in groups (I keep 5 in a 30 gallon) and use the whole vivarium (tincs mainly stay on the ground).
