HELP TUTLE DOING NOTHING BUT BASKING

Hey my little red ear isnt doing anything anymore he just basks he use to swim around eat and play all the time now he wont to anything... im really scared he is going to die please help me out if you can

First check the water temperature and quality. Is it warm enough and clean.

Next take the turtle to the vet.

Do as golfdiva said first. If your temps are too cold he may be avoiding the water. He also will not eat on land.

If the water temp is in the 70's and he still remains basking it could be a bacterial infection of some sort or even a respiratory infection. You will need the a trip to the vet to determine this.
