Shedding

Here a pic of our green anole in shed. After this pic he proceeded to eat it off his body. I hope that that is normal lol

They kind of look like rotting zombies, don't they? Fun picture - you have to be quick with the camera to catch them shedding. It is normal for them to eat the shed - recycling nutrients.
