Quick Question

Ok for all you breeders out there. My '98 female Suzie shares her cage with our '00 male, Slink. It has ground space of 30"x28" so it's big enough for the both. Both have been eating fine as well. Suzie shed on the 7th and now I am noticing bulges near her tail, which I assume would be eggs (she last ate the 25th and then went into shed). I tried to feed her the day after she shed and she refused. There is a nest box in their cage for her to lay eggs in. My question is I now want to separate them due to the fact that Slink keeps going in the nest box with her. Would it be less stressful on her to give her a new cage with some of the same furnishings or to leave her in the big cage and remove Slink? I'm thinking to remove Slink but I just wanted opinions. I believe I should have about another week or so going by everything I've read. Anywho, I was just wondering what you all suggested. Thanks!

I always move the male. The female needs to be somewhere she feels comfortable. Switching her to an unfamiliar tank might stress her and cause problems.
