First Eggs, Finally Here !!

gemdreamer Feb 10, 2005 12:04 PM

Hi, everyone, last night I went out to check on my females and one had layed her eggs.

I marked them and put them in the pastic container then into my incubator.

But I have a question, is there any advice you would give a first timer that would benifeit them. I just dont want to lose any eggs, I'm worried I'll do something wrong.

Thanks and wish me luck.

Hey Gem - im in the same boat as you - first time breeder in Scotland in UK here! My eggs have been in the incubator a week now and doing well! Thing i noticed is slight temp changes can effect the incubator - i had 2 move mines 2 a cuboard where the temps didnt flucuate! Have u candeled the eggs yet? I candeled mine 2 days after they were laid and again 2 day and what a difference - there was just a little blob on day 2 but 2day little red veins have spread round the egg :0) PS what morphs are the mother and father - mines are High Yellow X Abbreant (i think) Not the most extravagent i know but still mega excited! Keep us posted , ill let you know how i get on!

Hi, Eve

well, my male is a HTCT I obtained him from CrestedGecko.com and the female is normal, Im not sure if she is het for anything. I aquired her, when I bought some jeveniles.

I have not candled them, although I think I may have a problem with the temps flucuating also. Ive already moved them once, probably will have to move them again.

Wish me Luck
