Nolvasan - clorahexidine update

Well apparently there is a BIG difference between acetate and glutenate. Acording to the manufacturer of nolvasan, it contains 45% more active ingredient and therefore can be diluted more and still be effective. The average recomended dilution for Nolvasan is 1:211.

Thank you very much for posting that info. We were actually considering revising our dilution or going with the generic product you mentioned in our last discussion. Now I don't see the point.

Back when we had a smaller collection (~120 individuals) and we used it only in spray bottles, one gallon would last us a solid 6 months! That was a double the recommended concentration, to make up for a decrease in contact time. It can go a long way.
