Eating Crickets or Silkworms - for those of you whom have fed both?

I'm kind of wondering - it seems like mine's colors were better when he was eating silkworms, and I wonder if it's becuase there's so many vitamins and things in the silkworm chow.

Anyway - just curious
Thanks

I can see a color improvement when I gutload my insects with carrots. I've never tried silkworms. Here in FL they melt before they get here. haha

I did notice mine seem to look better as far as color when feeding silkies ..... The only thing I can think of is maybe it isn't as stressfull on them to digest the silkies? The chow could have some added vitamins or possibly even something that would enhance color but I wouldn't think so. If you were already supplimenting with a vitamin dust I wouldn't think it was the vitamins either. Maybe they're happy because crix= hamburger and silkies= T-Bone...LOL
