Reptile Demonstration

snakegal123456 Feb 10, 2005 05:40 PM

My Science 10 teacher asked if I could do a reptile demonstration for Biology 11 students with myleopard geckos and her beardie there. I'd like a couple good topics and things to talk about and any other helpful hints. Any help would be appreciated. I'm probably not going to do the demo for a couple months till itgets warmer. T
Thanks,
Kirsten

Hmm, this is for a biology class? So husbandry ect probably wouldn't be appropriate then eh? What generally works well for this type of presentation is creating a naturalistic vivarium if it is withen your capabilities and/or researching the species and it's wild habitat. You can show it's native range on a map, talk about what it's environment is like and how it relates to its needs in captivety.
Because your being the presenter, I suggest you do LOTS of research to ensure accuracy of your information as well as to avoid being stumped by too many tough questions. (I always was the one to ask lots of questions waaay back in highschool)
