You are 15 years old, if you want any chance of getting any advice from me, you WILL ADDRESS ME PROPERLY. 15 year olds don't call me "Carmichael". Even my college students address me with respect (Professor Carmichael). This isn't a power trip or anything like that; just one of respect. Jeez kid, when are you going to learn? When you are going to start letting good, sound advice sink in? When are you going to take pride in your writing when asking questions? You say you want to become a vet....you first need to be a good student which includes developing sound communication skills. As you are quickly discovering, I am not answering your direct question because it has already been answered....time and time again. Seriously, Jake, everyone here loves to help each other out but you really need to step back and re-evaluate your situation. Since its obvious you never read my previous posts, which clearly stated that you are too young to own a burm, why do you think I am going to continue to encourage you to keep it? Seriously, enough is enough. I really do wish you well; I mentor many kids just like you and feel it is my responsibility to be a good role model to them but respect is a 2-way street.
Rob Carmichael (and for 15 year old out there, "Mr. Carmichael" will do just fine)
>>OK well i tried to feed him again....a live medium rat since he won't take anything else....He just ignores it completly has no interest in it at all....so i waited a day and tried a fresh killed rat...still nothing....Then i tired dangling a f/t rat in front of him...still nothing....My snake HATES to have things in front of his face so he never even bothers when i do that.....What can i do!!!!!!!!!! i am going crazy i know it's all my dfault i had him on f/t until small rats then started giving him live and it probably confused him and messed him up...MY temps are 90 on the hot side and 76 on the coolest side....I was thjinking of putting a heat lamp on the cool side which would bring the cool side to around low 80's...you think that could help?

>>Also how do i present the food to him? Like do i dangle a live rat in front of him./..toss a live rat in there...i mean the l;ast time i even saw him constrict his prey was so long ago...He either slithered up and wraped around it and ate it...or just slithered up and ate it...I think i confused him with aLL THIS switching from live to dead to f/t to live.......so please any opinions are needed...thanks
