metalpest Feb 10, 2005 08:11 PM

Can someone help me find the following snakes? Ive looked around and hardly seen any of these available. Also, I am always interested in rare hard to find snakes, so if I miss any, let me know.

Baja rat (B. rosaliae)
Gonyosoma ssp. particularly black and tan janseni
porphyracea ssp. other than coxi
Japanese forest (E. conspicillata)
Persians (E. persica)
Philippine rats (E. erythrura)
rein snake (E. frenata)

Thank you to anyone who can help me with information on these snakes.

Nick

I think you'll find breeders for rosaliae, conspicillata, persica and maybe gonyosoma. You may have to get on a waiting list for some of them. If you're willing to try wc's then all except erythrura are sure to show up on the corn and rat classifieds eventually. In fact one Florida importer has an ad right now for frenata.

Of course I'm sure you've read or seen how dicey wild caught asian ratsnakes can be. E-mail me by the link on this message and I'll copy the web links for the cb's.

Good luck
John
