Hey man, shoot me an email if you want. LMK (let me know) what you think. I decided to use lava rock instead of insulation. Not that your ideas werent good, I just needed something that would stand up to lots of pressure. Anyways, here's what I have.

Looks good. Hopefully you can recreate that same setup in 6 months when you'll have to doule the size of the enclosure.
I always love the underwater view.

One thing I may suggest, to keep yourself, and your caimans safe, is to cover the wires of the pump and heater with rubber tubing or something similar, incase they bite it by mistake.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am planning on replumbing the pump to be directly above the enclosure on a stand. But if that doesnt work, I'll definitely remember to do that.

Thanks Carlos.
Fortunately these guys wont need their setup to be doubled in six months. Even if they grow at their maximum potential for an entire year, they will be roughly 18 inches. The tank I have them in is roughly 24 by 48. Which gives them plenty of room to thermoregulate and to turn around. So at minimum, they should be able to stay in that cage at least a year. Anyways, thanks for the input.

Peter
