Any of you who have raised egyptians from babies please tell me how old you think this one is:

And if you think it is a wc (wild caught) or cb (captive breed).

where did you get that pic from? i remember when i was first looking for egyptians (about a year ago) doug dix sent me some pics of a couple he had available and the pics had the same background as the pic you posted. anyway, i have not raised egyptians from babies to adults but i've had my gemales since they were about 4-5 inches long (about 3-4 months old) and are now abou 13-14 inches long (1.5 years old). the one in the pic you posted looks to be anywhere from 6-9 months old. this is just my guess. i can't tell if it's wc or cb though.

Yeah, it's a pic doug sent me, hence why I just wanted people to email me that way he wouldn't get mad at me for some odd reason.

I'm gonna get an Egyptian this year, hopefully a CB because then they don't have the added stress of having been caught in the wild.

If you got the pic from Doug why don't you ask him how old and if it's CB or WC? He will answer both questions and they will be the right answer. He is the most credible breeder out there along with Lindsay.

I think he said it's a WC.

I'm looking for a CB so I might just wait for Pike to produce his. Talked to him already awhile ago and he said he'd have some babies in August this year.
