Hi, I have had a gold belly newt for maybe 4 months and we added a fire belly newt about 1 month ago. The fire belly died Wednesday. The gold belly has always been very active. Now, as of Wednesday night, the gold belly is very lethargic and listless. He just lays on a rock with his eyes closed not moving. This morning however, he was laying there with his eyes open. Still not moving. Now I notice that his abdomen and stomach area seem very bloated. The last time he ate was on Tuesday and he ate one (1) meal worm. He has not been interested in food since Wednesday when he started acting not himself. Is he looking at the same fate as the fire belly or is there something that I can do for him??
