Hey their i posted that my dragon(around 1 month old(she grew 1/2 inch!!now she is 5 and 1/2)) wasnt eating her veggies a while back. She still wont eat any of the veggies and she wont drink. I have tried giving here a little bath and spraying her on the head but still not thirsty... Im a bit worried because all day she sunbathes and sunbathes. She also a bit of an insoniac and sort of demands the light on 3 more hours (she keeps clawing the glass and suddenly stops scratching once the light is back on and skitters to her favorite spot. She does this until its around 8 whenever the light is not on.What a personality...) Anyways she is eating great like a little pig. Should i get the crikets wet when i feed her? But that would be taking the calcium dust away.

Most beardies are pretty good at getting the water they need from the meals they are eating. one way to make sure she is getting enough water is to let the crickets eat and drink, or "gutload" them before feeding, this way the crickets you give her are juicy and loaded with yumminess!

As for the veggies, don't fret, its not unusual for young beardies to not like their veggies. The important part is that they are exposed to them so that when they get older they will know what they are. Continue to use a variety of tricks to try and trick her into eating the occasional piece of carrot or green, and as she gets older she will take to them more, just dont give up!
