Updated pics of Ghost Brooksi.

Brandon Osborne Feb 11, 2005 07:03 PM

I can't wait to see this guy in 2 years. This is THE lightest ghost I've seen to date.

These guys hatched on Oct. 14th '04 and are growing quite well. As soon as I can get around to it, I'll post some pics of other keepers from last year. Some are pushing 30" already and one honduran, which hatched in late Sept. is already on med. mice.

Those are the nicest i have seen to. Is there a difference in the type of axanthic that you used used to create a lighter ghost?

Brandon Osborne Feb 12, 2005 06:44 PM

This was one produced by the double het adults I got from Dave B. a couple of years ago. As far as I know, they are from Lemke Axanthics X Beard Hypos. The only thing that makes me question the lines is the belly pattern. I know the Love line hypos are known for a mostly patternless belly and these guys have it. I'll take some belly pics when I can get around to it. Thanks for the comments.

nice looking hold back, you have to love this line. if he is anywhere near the size of his mama he is going to be near the best looking brooks period. i haven't seen a pic of his daddy in a while, do you think you can get one up here? i have yet to hold back a male ghost to adulthood, i think you have just inspired me...

Cool pic Dave, I think the Ghosts are the most overlooked Brooksi morph. If you have more pics of them please post them. Thanks Tom Stevens

Dave, it's almost time to warm things up so I'll get a pic up in about 2 weeks. If this boy grows up anywhere near the size and appearance of his mom, he'll definately be one of the best ever. I don't have to tell you that. You should be kickin yourself at this point. That girl is a gem. Thanks again.

Wow! Is that one of Brandons whites?

daveb Feb 13, 2005 02:54 PM

here it is again...

bluerosy Feb 13, 2005 08:47 PM

Is that a male or a female? Do the males come out lighter than the females. Do you have a pair? If so can you post a pic of both?

daveb Feb 14, 2005 08:16 AM

THAT is a female, approximately 2.4 years old. Still has some growing to do, and a little more pattern change yet to come. I have another male and female , these other two have whiter whites but their black is also heavier. No current pics, will get around to it.
