What camera did you end up getting!
Why is it that I envy EVERYTHING you have?!

Well Donnie, I went in a whole different direction, the Nikon made me mad, I only had it for about 2 years. At the time my husband bought it , the darn thing was very expensive, it should not have just died.

Anyway it was a heavy bulky camera with big Zoom lens and a ton of features to have to monkey with to set up for pictures. Lighting, appeture, all had to be right. I did however learn alot.

This time its so nuts, I went with A Konica Minolta Dimage, its a very small slim camera with an internal zoom (awesome.)
You can get as close as 4 inches for a Normal close up.
And as close as 2 1/4 inches from your subject, for Super Macro. Which I have not tried yet.

I will have more time tomorrow to experiment with all the modes. Took awhile today to just read, and get it set up on the computer.

But its a very cool little thing.

So, the last one you were doing on an regular SLR? Wow. I have one and have not been able to get any good ones of Dexter... I have a Minolta Maxxum 5... and a scanner.

I need to get a digital though... once I pay down some debt...

So, where's mine? Is it in the mail?

As far as funds, traveling everywhere eats up money, hehehehhe ya have to stay home awhile, and buy a camera, LOL Dexter Agrees!

oh my, i did not really read the name when i looked at the post so i thought that was chino (that is his dad right?) he has gotten huge! the camera seems to be working well too. just mail it over to me i will snap a few pics and then i will mail it back to you ha ha
