How large should AFTs be before they eat a pink?

MillionPoundBomb Feb 11, 2005 10:09 PM

Well, mine is at least 6 inches and he ate one! My Bolivian Boa Constrictor only had a left over live pink, so I tossed it into his cage. He was uninterested at first, but soon he just gulped it down, no problems at all! Very cool to watch.

Also, What is the temperature range on these guys? I have heard a few different things, and I just want to be sure.

Well, it's obvious he's eating them already. They don't need pinkies all the time. Probably once a week at MOST. Pinkies won't harm the AFT, but are a major sourse of fat, so often will cause an obese gecko. And that will eventually cause health problems.............Think 500 pound human!!!
