Shedding Question (Hatchlings)

bellarby Feb 11, 2005 10:47 PM

I have 2 hatchling Chondros....I feed them every 4 days as per the sellers directions. The seller stated that they were 8 weeks of age as of the date of purchase...wich was 1/20/05. They are great eaters and are doing well. Fecal check came back negative...so Iam happy about that. So if any of you experienced keepers could answer my question I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Bellarby

sorry about that.....kinda got caught up in the moment. My question is how often should these snakes shed?

Thanks Again,

Babies can vary quite a bit. Even animals from the same clutch, fed on the same schedule can have very different shed cycles. A good guess would be every 4-7 weeks. If you're feeding more often, then you could expect a 3 week cycle in there somewhere.
