Brown water pythons

solfugid Feb 12, 2005 12:45 AM

I am trying to decide between getting a brown water python or a macklots python. For those who keep both these species, which one do you prefer?

Hi,

both are very beautiful and interesting snakes. But somehow I like Liasis fuscus more, because of their rich brown color and the shiny yellow belly. But the brown water python (L. fuscus) is usually bad tempered and you might have more luck with Macklot's pythons. Anyway, no matter how you decide, both are really great!

Cheers,
Wulf
