Need help locating Dan Johnson Black Gap alterna.....

makisfree Feb 12, 2005 05:25 AM

After contacting Dan to discover that he is no longer in the alterna business, I need help in finding those who have the majority of his Black Gap breed stock and/or... possibly locating some of his recent offspring that may be available to me. Any help provided would be greatly appreciated!

Mike,

I had about 15 of dans gaps.I had pure patternless ones, speckleds, anerys, bowties, just aberrants and aweosme normals and I sold them all to my good friend ric blair.
Give him a try.It was almost two years ago and they were all yearlings or better and some were close to breeders so try him.
Also my best friend Aaron Mattson will have some this year as well. His e-mail is aaronherp@earthlink.net

Thanks Shannon, I appreciate the help very much.

I hope Dan returns with a few surprises in a few years, people tell me that he is known for having a few up his sleeve! Thanks again.

.....I really like her too. If I had to get rid of them all but one, she would be the one to stay without question and that says a lot. That "glowing lava" look to the saddles is really cool, you just don't realize how awesome some of these dark "dirty saddled" alterna really are until you see a good pic, or see them right in front of you. This series of shots of her turned out really good, very accurate.
