Just some new hondo pics....

mgl Feb 12, 2005 05:29 PM

Here is the snow I produced back in August of 2004. As with the other albinos and snows I produced, she was huge (no idea why they were so big as hatchlings). She is just under 100 grams and not even 6 months old....anybody else experience large, super fast growing hondos???

thanks

I can't wait to incorporate him into my projects---

I'm thinking of calling them extremely super hypos (lol)--I'm w/ you on this one

mgl Feb 12, 2005 05:32 PM

Kept him back because I loved his color and wide bands...very red and orange

mgl Feb 12, 2005 05:35 PM

I love her colors just as much as the males

mgl Feb 12, 2005 05:36 PM

This guy was really unique and I picked up a female just like him...they look to be bleeding and have really wide triads...he is in shed but they really look awesome in person

mgl Feb 12, 2005 05:44 PM

She has a really nice pattern IMHO

mgl Feb 12, 2005 05:47 PM

I like the snow and sounds like a good feeder. My 2 are at only 75 and 80 grams at 7 and 5 months. You had a great clutch. Keep up with the nice shots and have a great season this year.

Thanks!!!I saw your snows earlier too and they are awesome and big for 2004s too. I love the pics you posted as well, especially that killer extreme. Your adult hypos don't retain any black tipping--I may be coming to you for some additions to my collection--Good luck!!!

I have a Tangerine Albino that's about 6 months old from Terry Dunham and she is roughly 145 grams. Probably the largest of all my 04 snakes. Tom Stevens

Since you mentioned large 04 hatchlings. I have quite a few monsters but that Hondo probably is the largest. Tom Stevens

He is a biggun that's for sure. Wish it was a female but it's all good. I never hold my Hondo babies til they have some size. As a tiny hatchling he was spaztic like most seem to be. Some people think you have to"work" with a snake to calm them and make them used to handling but in my limited experience I have seen them mellow with age with not much previous interaction with people. Beats getting crapped on and chomped on by nervous babies..I will try n post pics of my other Hondos soon. Tom Stevens
