Animal Plastics & Under Tank Heat...

ryjspahr Feb 12, 2005 08:24 PM

Hey, I should be recieving my new animal plastics cage soon... it comes with the undertank heat option built in, however I need to get a thermostat (or something to regulate the temps)... any suggestions?

I have used helix thermostats and they are great, just wondering what everyone recommends? Also, can you get one that has a timer built in that will drop the temp at nite?

Thanks,
Ryan

I believe that pro-products sells a thermo that has a night drop built in (www.pro-products.com). I just use the cheapo alife thermo i got for 25 bucks from lll.

Yuppers the one proproducts is the same unit that big apple sales.. All you would need to activate the night drop is a timer.. If I were you I woud get a digital timer as they dont lost time like an analog will... Just make sure to check out the wattage handling on the timer....
