Provide better information about the situation.
What is his setup? Temps/Humidity? What are you feeding it? Live or prekilled?
Providing more information about your animal helps get better and more accurate responses.
Chris
i got him in a 55 gallon. 1/4 of the tank is water
temp is around 86-90 and i have had him for about 4 days
Well I bet uve only had him for a few days, give him good hide spots, a basking spot of 90, good sized water dish for him to soak in, and leave him alone, meaning no contact at all, for at least a week. Now for some reason I hear greens fansy chicken. Go pick up some F/T chicks and after that week of waiting try with the chicks, leave em in for a night. Now if u can only get mice(Frozen thawed is soo much better practice than live prey, but thats a different story)try putting chicken broth all over the mouse. I'm sure others will chime in and give more advice but I hope any of this helped.
Dont be alarmed, a new anaconda can take several weeks to go on feed. Dont handle him and leave him alone till he eats. Give him a good hide spot as well. In about two weeks try a prekilled rat pup just before you turn the lights off. Dont force the rat on him just lay it near him and shut the lights off. Good luck.
