veiled chameleon acting weird

zelda Jul 07, 2003 08:55 AM

My veiled chameleon female is acting weird. She hangs upside down at the bottom of her cage. Her cage temps are normal, she eats, just that she suddenly hangs upside down...anyone else have this problem? What could it be? Thanks Lyn

does she seem to have eggs in her?....she will lay eggs even though they are not fertile....it will only be couple.

give her about a one foot square box to dig in.

It's very hard to say without having a lot more info. How old is she? Is she gravid? Is she eating, drinking, moving around normally? Has she laid eggs before? Any other health problems or symptoms? What is the temp, humidity in her cage? What type of lighting (be brand specific), gutload, vitamin and mineral supplements do you use? How does she get water? She's not acting normally so something is wrong. Just what will take more time to figure out with your help.
