Is the 4" the best choice for adult balls in a rack system or would you use the 3"?

Depends on the tub size. I provide my adults with what some would call luxury accommodations. My racks hold CB70’s (33-3/4”long) and I have 11” flexwatt on each shelf (not behind). This allows them to get all of their bodies over the heat if they want or need to. They do seem to like it when they are in the warming phase following breeding. I would say it should cover 1/4 to 1/3 of the tub.

I argee, if you ahve a tub the size of larrys than you need to give the animal like a half and half.. The bean farm is one of the few that carries the 4".. They treat ya right!!!
