Cool. I'm really impressed with the use of 1/8" showerboard for the sides. I may try it with my next rack.

Current snakes:
0.2 Gonyosoma oxycephala - (Silver/Yellow)
3.3 Gonyosoma oxycephala - (Green)
2.1 Gonyosoma janseni - (Black)
3.3 Gonyosoma janseni - (Black & Tan)
I'm impressed with the shower board as well. Thats gotta take a BUNCH of weight off the melamine rack, eh?
Nice job.

I really love the versatility of tileboard...
I currently use tileboard as the interior walls of all of my monitor enclosures. WHile many people choose to use FRP in high humidity applications such as tree monitors, I have found that solid white tileboard works wonders.
Not only is it significantly cheaper ($8.99/4'x8'sheet), it is much stronger and significantly more rigid than FRP. Because it is rigid, I do not need to use a heavy plywood, or particle board backing, to support the FRP with. Tileboard is water resistant, easy to clean, cheap, and extremely versatile. It has become one of my most favorite building materials, when it comes to my monitor enclosures. I have even begun to construct some smaller tileboard enclosures for my quarantine setups as well.
I have just added a new 'quick and easy enclosure' DIY article on my website, where the entire enclosure is constructed with tileboard and metal angling/flashing. Just another DIY article some of you might use or lose...
Take Care,
have a great day!
Bob
