We have had a wtf for 3 months now. From the first night he has slept in the filter with only his nose sticking out of the water. Has anyone else heard of anything like this?

My male WTF doesn't do it every night, but many nights he will sleep in the water bowl with just his eyes and nose above water. I don't think it's anything to worry about. My guy basks under the lamp all day and the does the sleeping in the water bowl, so it's likely just a relaxing way to replenish moisture.
Let us know if you notice anything else though.

My WTF does that too... loves to sleep in his fountain or his water dish! He looks comfy too!
My WTF is doing it as i type this message. I think they love it! Also, sometimes they look like they are sleeping, but my whites likes to chill in the water as a toilet... if you know what i mean.
